Have you ever been to the sea in June? Have you ever been to Riccione in June? Do you have any idea how relaxing, rich, beautiful, cheap, fragrant and unique are the holidays in June in Riccione?
No? don't you know what you are missing?
This is undoubtedly the most beautiful month of the year to enjoy beach holidays and to visit our beautiful hinterland

Riccione in this period is still dormant and the beach is quiet: few silent people, the days are extremely lazy, the cool breeze of early summer and the sun warms so much because astronomically the rays are more intense at the angle of the month. Oh yes, June 21 coincides with the summer solstice and the days never end! Wonderful!
... and then the scent in the air of nature yes ... but in our part also of the Romagna gradella: The scent of cooking on the charcoal of blue fish caught in the Adriatic or and of the Romagna piadina that you feel everywhere. Yes, we eat like this: always us magna piadeina, sardunzein and a good bcir ad trebien (piadina romagnola, sardines and a good glass of Trebbiano.) In Romagna, good food is made up of simple and genuine foods and above all a lot of sociability ... and the backyard grill is just that. But let's go back to the month of June because there is still so much to do and see ... calmly but it never ends.
The summer has just begun and the festivals and events are countless: just to name a few there is the witches' festival, the cherry, mussel and clam festival, wines and flavors in the street, the festival of potato and gnocchi ... and every occasion is good for partying or "shack" as we say here! And then the numerous market exhibitions, evening markets and small antiques fairs ... all in the space of a few kilometers from Riccione.
And then, even when the days are gray, what's better than a trip to the dozens of villages in the hinterland? Why not visit a winery or take a food and wine tour? Within a 20-30 minute drive from the coast you will find everything: fabulous wineries where you can try wines, oils and cheeses produced here. Or why not stop at a rustic restaurant on the hill? Here the kitchen and the wallet get along very well! With a small fast food budget you can try traditional dishes such as passatelli, lasagna, cappelletti, Romagna blackberry steaks, grilled meat and traditional desserts ... all accompanied by local wines such as Sangiovese and Trebbiano.
In short, Riccione, Rimini, Misano Adriatico, Cattolica ... all of Romagna in June is a holiday not to be missed! Happy holidays to you friend who read me!

It might be only a 3star hotel but the service and feeling you get at this hotel corresponds to 5 stars. The management and the staff are super kind and always at your disposal. They always try to accomplish your demands, no matter what: Nicole is a young and super professional hotel manager and at the same time very humble. Her always smily attitude is very infectuous. She is that kind of person who expects you warmly at the entrance and even helps with the luggage. Camilla her desk manager is a sweetheart. Same for all other staff. They all seem to have a special connection, like a big family. That's why you get the feeling to be at home from day 1. We ( family with 2 girls of 9 & 5 yrs) have been going to Riccione since three years in spring and surprisingly we must say that our satisfaction increases every year. From room comfort to the tasty meals. Last but not least...their holiday animator is a great plus and a big attraction not only for the kids. This year a talented young lady, Marilena, is there to entertain your kids with her lovely and funny ways. For us....Adelphi 4 ever❤
