Do you want to know the recipe of the real Romagnola ciambella?
The "ciambella Romagnola" is a typical dessert of our tradition here in Romagna. It is soft, tasty and very simple to prepare.
We at Adelphi Hotel in Riccione are more than happy to share with you our delicious and precious recipe, loved even by children. You can enjoy the Ciambella for breakfast with milk or coffee; or a snack with Nutella or jam.
These are the ingredients for six people:
_500 grams of flour
_300 grams of sugar
_100 grams of butter
_100 grams of margarine
_some lard
_3 eggs
_1 sachet of yeast
_lemon peel and milk as required
Mix the flour with the butter, the margarine and liquefied lard, the eggs, the sugar and the milk necessary to obtain a consistent dough.Then add the yeast and lemon peel.
Grease the mold and place in the oven for about half an hour at 180 °.
Your "Ciambella Romagnola"is now ready,
and if you want to taste it even better, try to soak it in a glass of Albana!
As every year, we did spend our summer holidays in the Adelphi Hotel in Riccione from end of June until the 7th of July.As always the staff were very friendly and the food excellent. We had a wonderful vacation and will of course go back next year. Thank you Nicole, Giuliano and the whole staff.
